As a Children's Centre/Extended School, we are inspected regularly by Ofsted - for daycare and nursery provision as well as the traditional 'whole school' inspections. Our most recent Ofsted visit was a nursery inspection, which identified all our practice i nursery as being good or outstanding.

Our last full Ofsted inspection was a very positive experience, but we fully appreciate the need to keep building on the strengths that Ofsted highlighted when they visited our school as well as making progress on the areas that they identified as needing us to work on.

Continuing to raise standards was one such area, as was developing the work that our subject co-ordinators do. We have also been working hard on improving our marking across the school, so that it's more uniform for children to understand and is more effective at informing teachers' planning: we've done quite a lot of work on all of these areas and feel we've been very successful in general. We're also continually trying to improve attendance at school, and we have had some success so far in doing this although it can still be a problem, particularly at the beginning and end of terms when people take holidays.
